Exactly what I needed

[Beyond Surviving] was exactly what I needed at the right time. This journey has been so lonely even though I’m surrounded by amazing people. For the first time in my life I felt less alone in what happened to me and even though our experiences are unique the feelings that come with them are often shared and there is real strength in being understood without having to explain everything. To hear other women speak and to resonate so much with them was surreal and kind of hard to put into words but I left my first in person meeting feeling less alone and that meant the world to me. It’s a club we never wanted to be a part of but having support from people who truly understand what I am going through will be life changing for me.
